In the initiative to cover major Indian metro cities with 4G by end of the first quarter, Vodafone has announced that it’ll be launching the 4G services in economic capital of the country on February 10th.
The event will be headed by the company chief, Sunil Sood, says a report published in Economic Times. Vodafone has started to distribute the 4G enabled SIM cards to their staff to overcome any early glitches that might come.
Vodafone just launched 4G in Delhi NCR region and the company had announced their plans to cover the major metro cities in the coming months. With Mumbai getting covered next month, the focus has now shifted to any announcement about the launch of 4G services in other cities such as Bangalore, Kolkata and Chennai.
At the beginning of January, Vodafone started giving away 4G enabled SIM cards. So if you are planning to enjoy the 4G experience as soon as it launches, you can get a 4G SIM even before the service is launched from all 56 exclusive stores around Mumbai.
